I am a proficient development professional with seventeen years of experience in the development sector. My background includes working with highly professional grassroots organizations like PRADAN and assuming leadership positions at the state level within respected institutions, including the DPIP, State Planning Commission, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, and MP DAY SRLM.I have done Masters in Social Work in year 2006, MBA in Project Management in year 2017. and now perusing PhD in sociology.With over sixteen years of professional experience, I currently serve as a Senior Technical Expert in Social Management Framework and Gender for the National Rural Economic Transformation Project supported by the World Bank under SRLM, Rural Development Department.In my prior role as Advisor-Gender and Social Development at Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB), I initiated and successfully managed innovative projects such as community-managed Rural Tourism and gender-centric “Safe Tourism Destination for Women of Madhya Pradesh(STDW-MP)”. Also contributed to mobilizing and raising the funds for the STDW project and tribes tourism project. These projects received both National and International recognition.At the State Planning Commission, Madhya Pradesh, I served as a Specialist-Decentralized Planning, where I contributed to streamlining the participation of the local community in the planning process, gender policies, State Gender Budgeting, and Vision document preparation for the State of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from that, I successfully managed the Impact Evaluation of women-centric schemes to assess the impact of the implementation of the schemes run by the different ministries for women\'s empowerment.With more than eight years in Rural Development, I held positions at various levels, including a State Coordinator-Gender and Social Development at a World Bank-funded project (DPIP). This experience provided me with a holistic view of working with women collectives, gender issues, social management frameworks, tribal development and community development. I served as a Project Officer at Zila Panchayat in Rajgarh District, overseeing the implementation of various central and state-sponsored schemes, including SBM, PMAY, MDM etc. I prepared PIP and budgets for the 13th Fin. Comm. & SBM. Additionally, I worked with the NGO PRADAN in Sironj district Vidisha, focusing on promoting community-based SHG federations, social mobilization, capacity building, and facilitating farmers in adopting the best agricultural practices for sustainable livelihoods.
