I lead Unified Communications initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), with responsibility for the end-to-end technical ownership, architecture oversight, and operational governance of enterprise collaboration and communication platforms across large-scale, business-critical environments.A key part of my role involves designing and delivering custom Unified Communication solutions aligned to specific business requirements. I work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into tailored collaboration architectures, ensuring optimal integration, scalability, security, and a seamless user experience.I lead platform architecture, service reliability, capacity planning, and operational excellence initiatives for Unified Communications solutions, including Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Pexip (Cloud Video Interop). My focus areas include high-availability design, performance optimization, change and release management, and continuous service improvement, enabling resilient and scalable collaboration services.As the primary technical authority and escalation point, I manage complex L3/L4 incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive architectural decision-making in close collaboration with network, security, cloud, and workplace technology teams. I define and enforce standard operating procedures, governance frameworks, and best practices to maintain service stability, compliance, and operational maturity.With a strong foundation in legacy Unified Communications platforms, including Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS), I actively support platform migrations, hybrid integrations, and modernization initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business impact.
