   Implement all purchasing procedures, and sourcing of spare parts both locally and overseas.• Supports the Technical Superintendent/s in identifying the vessels’ purchasing needs, such as general stores, spare parts, technical equipment, service providers etc, in order to develop the purchasing plan for each vessel, based upon inventory levels, voyage requirements and economy of supply.• Processing spares/ stores / Lube Oils/ Paints / chemicals / Service requisitions or SR received from vessel thru ERP system - NS5 software.• Once spares / stores are delivered to vessel or warehouse invoice to be processed.• Service request once completed on-board liaising with vessel for evaluation and completion.• Planning, Scheduling, Co-ordination and Controlling of the Ship repair project by maintaining Schedule, Quality and Cost.• Delivering cost savings for the company and managing the procurement, supplier relationships for the company• Sending advisories to vessel for orders which are arranged for upcoming ports and follow up with them to take deliveries in time.• Vendor evaluation of stores/ spares supplied on board.• Provides feed- back to Procurement team suppliers and service providers concerning the performance of the suppliers and service providers in order to improve the quality of service provided.• Arranging purchasing plan for new-buildings / vessels entering management with the staged delivery of initial outfit equipment, material & consumables in line with company policies.Highlights: • Handling fleet vessels registered with DNV, ABS & KR Class well versed with the ISM system & rules & requirements of the class & administration.• visited vessels and have hands on experience related arranging technician for repairs, spares purchases, machinery repairs and logistics
