About Swati Gupta

Swati Gupta completed her schooling at a government school in Assam and moved to TISS to pursue her higher education. Her curiosity to understand the Public Education System and explore herself drove her to join the Gandhi Fellowship. She was based in Haryana for two years where she worked with 14 schools extensively which enriched her systemic knowledge and supported her in designing and implementing projects in collaboration with different stakeholders. Post the Fellowship, she joined the Alumni team where she onboarded and managed 100+ partnerships for Alumni and fellows and developed five L&D products. She has also worked on conceptualizing a platform for placement and client relationship management and developing the portal with the vendor; created an in-depth matrix to assess the relationships with the organizations to enhance the engagement with the partners.Later she also worked with GSIF (Genpact Social Impact Fellowship) to majorly create new partners, maintain relationships, onboard sector experts, and design workshops.In her previous engagement with NavGurukul as Head of Outreach and Partnerships, she was given the responsibility of managing their old clients and onboarding new ones. She was also entrusted with the responsibility of creating strategies for both operation and recruitment. Her strategy resulted in rapid admissions, a decrease in dropouts, and the successful establishment of five new campuses. She was also working with the government and led the project with Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University & and Tripura Tribal Welfare Department to open a residential program.Her previous experiences helped her find her passion for gender and identities which intersects with it. Currently, she is working with Restless Development India and leading a programme - Delhi Learning Lab, supported by USAID’s MOMENTUM Country & Global Leadership India - Yash on improving knowledge, attitudes and practice of Young People’s Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR). She successfully led a project supported by the Akamai Foundation which resulted in capacitating more than older adolescent girls on STEM in rural Alwar. She is an alumna of TISS, Gandhi Fellowship, Jagriti Yatra, and Youth Alliance and has worked with the We Are Young Foundation as a Founding Member in a pro bono capacity for 2 Years during her college days. Swati is a fine young woman with a range of interests – including the anti-caste movement, her hometown, food, and the diverse Forts of Delhi.
