Working in Tata Steel across various functions and geographies has given me in depth understanding of material issues across steel value chain and helped me gain expertise in leading complex projects from conceptualisation to implementation in collaboration with the operations team. Passionate about coaching and mentoring of team members my team management has enabled me and my team to achieve and better the performance targets year on yearIn my current role as Chief Enterprise Risk Management for Tata Steel and its Group Companies, I am responsible for ensuring Goovernance and Decision support by implementing ERM across all business units and domestic and offshore Subsidiaries and providing thought leadership to create a risk intelligent culture in the organisation for fostering business resilience. Under my leadership Tata Steel has moved from a risk maturity score of 2.5 in 2016 to 4.68, on a scale of 5 in 2021 in risk maturity assessments conducted by third party. Several accolades like India risk management awards (5 years in a row ) and Golden Peacock award for Risk management has come Tata Steel\'s way.in my role as Chief Procurement, was responsible for managing a spend of approx. 4 BnUS $ for Raw material and procured consumables ( approx. 60% of the total spend) Services and MRO Buy. was responsible for carrying out Synergy buy with group Subsidiaries and geographical de risking through identification of new sources using value in use tool. Use of Reverse auction for key bulk commodities like Refractories and Vendor managed inventories for better security of supplies. Lead the Supplier value management programme for large multi national Suppliers like M/s Paul Worth, Siemens, like Hidustan Zinc Limited, Siemens etc. Leveraging digital initiatives to achieve value optimisation to the tune of 0.05% of spend.Member of the Diversity and Inclusion Core committee of Jamshedpur, I serve as the Chairperson of the CII Indian Women Network, Jharkhand Chapter and a member of the CII National Committee of women Empowerment Core Competency: Managing large scale transformation Programme across functions, Internal and External stakeholder management, ability to work within a complex fast paced business environment, Drive fact based recommendations for risk management Committee of BoardLet’s connect and discuss further
