Currently part of the core central underwriting team for Unsecured lending managing both pre and final approvals.• Lead underwriting efforts for unsecured products such as Personal loans & Credit Cards across diverse segments including Premier, Top Tier, CEP, NTB & ETB base.• Risk & profile assessment of Individuals & corporates (Salaried, Professionals, NRI’s, NRI Shippies, etc).• Collaborate with business teams to develop tailored customer propositions, ensuring alignment with their needs.• Manage credit processes, liaising effectively with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers.• Uphold credit policy standards, oversee workflow, and contribute to achieving departmental/company objectives.• Efficiently manage workload to ensure timely completion within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).• Provide support to the Retail Credit Manager and local credit committee, offering insights and guidance.• Evaluate credit opportunities, assess risks, and structure alternatives in partnership with Relationship Managers and Credit Policy Officers.• Recommending policy and product changes to the concerned stakeholders to bring new developments to existing guidelines.• Implementing changes in policy, processes, and system integration to align the India Business with Group Standards for all the products.•Maintain the SLAs for processing Personal loan & Credit Card applications and help in structuring applications with the RBWM team.
