My current work focuses on advancing colonoscopy safety through the development of distributed wireless optical blood sensors. These sensors are designed to extend detection beyond the colonoscope’s tip camera, providing real-time notification of bleeding that may otherwise go unseen. Alongside this, I am contributing to the integration of orientation-sensing technology, enabling 3D visualization of the colonoscope’s shape during procedures to support safer navigation and reduce risk of complications.Previously, I created a program for real-time orientation visualization of an individual sensor and assisted in enabling wireless transmission, helping transition the platform from wired to wireless operation.
