About Swarup Sahu
Experienced professional in financial modeling and quantitative analysis with a demonstrated history of working in banking and supervision. I am also experienced in economics research and have been involved in machine learning and data science research projects. Currently, I\'m working in the FOMC team at the Federal Reserve to create data analytics products for the Federal Open Market Committee. I am also the technical lead of the quarterly Summary of Economic Projections report that is published to the public. In my previous role, I was engaged in quantitative modeling and model development in banking & financial regulation (S&R Division) at the Federal Reserve (part of the Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing).Skilled in Python, R, Matlab, Java, statistical data analysis, econometrics, and data wrangling. Strong educational emphasis on financial economics with a Bachelor\'s degree from University of California, Berkeley. Currently continuing education as a non-degree student at the University of Delaware in preparation for a Master\'s degree in Applied Math or Computational Science (prior to the pandemic I took classes at George Washington University).
