ABOUT SWARNIMA KUMARI SWARNIMA SINGH

I am an organized, goal-driven researcher with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a long-standing curiosity about how biological complexity emerges—from nucleotides to neural networks. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong inclination toward experimental research and an eagerness to explore interdisciplinary questions.During my tenure as a student researcher at CSIR-CDRI, I worked on standardizing protocols for the in vitro enrichment of cardiac glycosides from Nerium oleander. This experience exposed me to the rigor of experimental optimization, reproducibility, and critical thinking skills that now form the backbone of my research approach.Motivated by a growing interest in Developmental Biology and Neuroscience, I have joined the Center for High Impact Neuroscience and Translational Applications (CHINTA) as a doctoral candidate. I am particularly fascinated by how molecular and developmental processes give rise to neural circuits and behavior, and I aspire to contribute meaningfully to translational neuroscience research.Beyond the lab, I am deeply drawn to books, travel, and storytelling. I believe that science and storytelling are inherently connected as they both seek patterns, meaning, and understanding. I hope to blend science with thoughtful communication and storytelling one day. Happy to connect!
