About Swarnali Dey
PhD-trained life sciences researcher with a strong foundation in reproductive and developmental biology, molecular biology, immunology, and physiology, gained through rigorous doctoral training at CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR-IICB). My doctoral research focused on mouse decidual development and elucidated the role of cellular prion protein (PrPᶜ) in regulating decidualization during early pregnancy, using hypothesis-driven and evidence-based experimental approaches in mammalian model systems.I am motivated by interdisciplinary research that connects fundamental biological mechanisms with translational relevance, particularly in understanding molecular and immune regulation of tissue remodeling, cellular communication, and physiological adaptation. I value experimental rigor, reproducibility, and data-driven problem solving, and thrive in collaborative research environments.Alongside laboratory research, I am actively engaged in scientific communication and mentorship, with a strong interest in knowledge dissemination and fostering analytical thinking.
