ABOUT SWARAT CHAUDHURI
I am a Professor of Computer Science at UT Austin and a Research Scientist at Google Deepmind, London, working at the interface of machine learning, automated reasoning, and programming languages. My research aims to create a new breed of AI systems that are reliable and secure by construction and excel at deep reasoning. I want to see a world where AI systems invent beautiful mathematics, novel scientific theories, and rigorously engineered systems. To get to such a world, we need to build algorithms that can reason.I have written 100+ peer-reviewed papers spanning many different areas of computer science (Google Scholar page: & hl=en). I have received a Guggenheim fellowship, an NSF CAREER award, the ACM SIGPLAN John Reynolds Dissertation award, the Morris and Dorothy Rubinoff Dissertation award from the University of Pennsylvania, Meta and Google Research awards, and numerous best paper awards. I have supervised the Ph.D.s of 7 graduate students. I have served on the program committees of all the main conferences in machine learning, formal methods, and programming languages and was a Program Chair for CAV 2016 and ICLR 2024.For more details, check out my website:
