As an experienced Application Support Engineer with 2.2 years of experience in the Personal Accountability Report (PAR) project at Western Ocean Software, I have provided support to the application with my expertise in SQL, PL/SQL Database, LINUX, and UNIX Technologies.I am skilled in providing L1 and L2 support to clients for data applications and resolving P3 level issues related to business requirements and objectives. My experience includes checking email alerts, notification mails, and monitoring control-M tool jobs, as well as handling tickets in queue and acknowledging them within SLA.With a solid understanding of ITIL for incident management, change management, and problem management, I have excellent problem-solving skills and can work effectively in a team environment. I am also proficient in executing SQL statements in SQL Server to analyze and rectify issues.In addition to my technical skills, I possess strong communication skills, which are essential in communicating with teams like developers, DBAs, and support teams. I attend daily status meetings with team members to manage and resolve issues, send daily reports, and attend weekly calls with other teams regarding ongoing issues.I have a good understanding of LINUX basic commands and SQL DDL, DML, DRL, SET OPERATORS, CONSTRAINTS, JOINS, SUB-QUERY, INDEX, STORED PROCEDURE, VIEWS, CURSOR, TRIGGERS, and other related technologies.In my current position as an Application Support Engineer at Western Ocean Software, I am responsible for monitoring health checks (CPU and Memory Utilization) for the applications and the components, resolving application-related queries and issues based on the ticketing system, and troubleshooting issues within SLA. I am providing on-call support and work in coordination with the Linux team, Development team, Network administration team, and other applications support group for any issues related to database and applications.Overall, I am a highly motivated and dedicated professional who takes pride in my work and strives to deliver excellent results.
