Hands on experience in Kubernetes operators-based deployment, worked on IBM orderservice deployment using operators on the GKE platform. Good understanding on deploying the CRDs (custom resource definition) for the operator-based deployment (IBM OMS & Order Service Operators) in Kubernetes. Working on requirements to update the GCP infrastructure updating the Terraform scripts. Good understanding with the Terraform modules, resources, data blocks. Understanding with the Terraform State-file mechanism, configuring the backends to store the Terraform state-files. Experience on configuring the Gitlab pipelines to build & deploy the container-based applications. Written the CICD pipeline stages to perform the environment specific deployments. Understanding on Kaniko tool to build the images. Experience on the monitoring & visualization tools like Google managed Prometheus, Prometheus, Grafana, Google Monitoring, Google Logging. Worked on integration of the metrics from the managed Elastic Search & Managed Astra DB (Cassandra) to the Grafana using the GMP to scrape the metrics. Configure the GCP Secret Manager as secret store used in the Kubernetes deployment for Application Configuration. Worked on google cloud platform (GCP) services like compute engine, cloud load balancing, cloud Storage bucket, Secret Manager, Private Service Connect, Cloud DNS, GCP Gateway, GCP Load balancing, Google Artifact Registry, GKE clusters, Stack driver monitoring. 24x7 proactive monitoring of server, storage, backup, and network environment alerts via GCP native monitoring tool and Email.
