Started career as Fire and Safety Engineering in 1984 the then biggest Oil Refinery in India including exposure to biggest LPG plant and modernization of plant including fire and safety development by incorporating various standard operating practice,handling LPG cylinders incorporating chain conveyor replacing roller conveyor, telescoping conveyor for loading/unloading from truck to plant & plant to truck,provision of neck rolling.\\\\nVertical stacking of cylinder with fire safety of Refinery truck in place of horizontal stacking, improve the life cycle of cylinder.To impart training on safety to all employees. provision of master switch to isolate battery supply and provision of CCE approved spark arrestor.Worked as Emergency team members and attended more than 50 lpg tank emergency scenario in Gujarat,MP and other locations.\\\\nworked as chief Manager Fire & Safety by working various stages stating from fire and safety Engineer to chief manager as in charge of Fire and Safety Division in various Refinery like Gujarat,Haldia and Barauni.\\\\nInvolved in various projects like 1st Hydrocracker project in India at Gujarat Refinery starting from project to commission.\\\\nincluding project safety.\\\\nSuggested and implemented various fire prevention, protection and fire fighting system.\\\\nAs a faculty trained employees not only in Refinery Division but also to Marketing and Pipeline Division of Indian Oil Corporations at various locations and also for outside agency like ONGC,HPCL,BPCL, Jadavpur University,Indian chamber of commerce.\\\\nworked as Core Faculty Member of IOCL training centre and Regular faculty member of Indian Oil Management Academy where Executives through out India are being trained.\\\\nConducted various emergency mock drill on various simulated scenario including chemical leak based on dispersion model like Ammonia,chlorine, lpg leak including major oil spill both onsite and offsite.\\\\nA core member of offsite disaster emergency group both at Baroda and Hadia.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n

36 years of rich experience both in the field of Fire & Safety. Specialities: DNV Lead Auditor Functional Area Expert, NABET QCI Guest Faculty at IISWBM Honarary faculty at Regional Labour Institute Guest Faculty of Jadavpur University for their Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environment Management. I started my career with regular Fire Service as Fire Officer in West Bengal Fire and Emergency services, in their busiest fire station in India.This service grew my leadership and mass control skills.I was trained from National Fire Service College,Nagpur with distinction.In 1984, I joined Indian Oil Corporation as Fire and Safety Officer and continued as Chief Manager till my retirement. I have worked in various refineries like Gujarat,Haldia and Barauni and I am connected to a multitude of Fire and Safety activities. Worked in the biggest LPG bottling plant in 1984. Commissioning of first Hydrocracker Unit of Gujarat Refinery in 1994,modernization of fire stations,conduction of mock drills on different scenarios like chemical leaks,oil spills etc. Projects,Training,Shut down safety, Audit, ISO certification,TPM etc. To work as a Fire & safety Consultant/ Advisor in a reputed organisation where I can show my skills and ability. Worked as Guest faculty at IISWBM Worked as faculty in all the divisions of IOCL (Refinery,Marketing and Pipeline divisions) Faculty member of Jadavpur University,RBI, BPCL, HPCL. ONGC.
