ABOUT SWAGATA KARMAKAR
Inquisitive by nature and driven by the desire to learn and really excel in the various aspects of Producing an entertainment entity, Swagata is currently pursuing her Post Grad in Producing For Film and Television from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, the National film school under Ministry of I&B of India. She has completed her graduation from Jadavpur University,Kolkata with BA and MA in English Literature. While going through the course she became a member of Jadavpur University Photographic Club, renowned for it\'s student initiatives, and actively took part in photography. She assisted in Theatre and was Assistant Director in the bilingual play Romeo and Juliet by Mukul Ahmed. She has being Chief Assistant Director in many short films and diploma films of SRFTI while she was still in her early Master\'s course in 2016. She completed two projects of seniors as an Associate Producer and Executive Producer, after joining SRFTI as a first year student, only because of her early on experiences. She recently completed an independent AD Campaign for the leading footwear brand Khadims as an Executive Producer.
