About Svet Semov
I was part of the first wave of PhD economists who joined tech companies and brought causal measurement to industry. I joined Amazon when there were fewer than 50 economists and only a handful of companies were hiring for causal inference. I later led Instagram Ads experimentation, one of Meta\'s most mature experimentation organizations, running over experiments per year. I\'m one of the few data scientists who have worked on experimentation at both Meta and Amazon. Now I\'m excited to continue this journey with Causara, where we\'re building the future of causal and AI measurement in marketing.
