In the company, I was involved in the development and support of a system for processing financial data from international issuers (JPMorgan, Vontobel, Société Générale, etc.), as well as from German financial exchanges.The main key responsibilities included:1) Designing an architecture for automatically updating financial products based on incoming data from issuers and exchanges2) Developing a flexible financial product management system that allows for easy changes to their structure and properties3) Supporting and optimizing legacy code to ensure stable operation of existing system componentsAdditional projects: Participated in the implementation of a project related to changes in German legislation. For example, at the end of 2024, in response to new regulatory requirements, functionality was developed that allows users not only to receive a consolidated quarterly report, but also to request reports on individual financial products.Personal achievements:1) Accelerated the process of parsing raw data from financial products by 3 times by completely rewriting the existing module. Used a more efficient approach to data processing and updating product information, which significantly improved the performance and stability of the system.2) Optimized the financial product search system, achieving 10x speedup by replacing MongoDB (Atlas Search) with OpenSearch. The new architecture allowed for scalability and more accurate search results under high loads.3) Developed a middleware layer for compatibility with the existing frontend, converting queries in the FeathersJS Query format to equivalent OpenSearch Query. This ensured the correct operation of the new search architecture while maintaining full support for the current UI while the new frontend was being developed.
