I am working in the Rest of the World team in the Customs Import Department. My role involves creating customs declarations (SAD\'s and now H1\'s via HMRC\'s new Customs Declaration Service (CDS) for our client\'s air and ocean shipments. I do this in a timely and precise manner, claiming ocean freight shipments (FCL & LCL) via Port Software Systems, Destin8 and CNS, update shipment history via checking container releases, etc. I am learning a lot, assist with training colleagues and am enjoying my role within a lovely team.
