Suzette Ivanova, Esq, launched Ivanova LLC with a focus on providing legal counsel on employment law compliance and risk mitigation, bringing to the firm several years of experience representing management-side clients in litigation of employment matters (including claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as state and federal wage and hour claims), and advising clients on employment law compliance.Prior to launching her firm, Ms. Ivanova practiced domestic and cross-border employment law at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she represented and advised employers in a variety of industries, including financial, real estate, hospitality, pharmaceutical, healthcare, broadcasting, fashion, and luxury goods, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Ivanova spent several months abroad in the firm’s Paris office and was a member of the firm’s International Labor Law Practice Group, where she collaborated on various cross-border employment law matters. She has lectured and published on a range of international employment law topics. Among Ivanova LLC’s clients included BNP Paribas North America, Inc, for which the firm provided in-house employment law counsel, advising on myriad employment law, employee relations, and recruiting issues. Ms. Ivanova subsequently spent several years in-house at Citizens Bank, N.A, then in-house at Citi.She currently serves as Director in the Employment, Incentives & Pensions Legal (Americas) group at Barclays.Ms. Ivanova earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with certificates in American Studies and Women’s Studies, from Princeton University and earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as an Article and Notes editor of the American Criminal Law Review. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
