At some point in our lives, chances are we – or someone we love, will be touched by a cancer diagnosis. Oligo Nation’s mission is to accelerate the development of new treatments and, ultimately, to find a cure for oligodendroglioma (a form of brain cancer). This is a big assignment. Five years ago, there was zero research directed at Oligo. In 2023, there is meaningful oligodendroglioma research underway, but much more is needed. In my role as Development Director, I work closely with Oligo Nation’s founder, Brock Greene, as well as fundraising partners and Oligo community members to expand the organization’s reach and impact. I implement the mission through fundraising events and corporate, donor, and volunteer development. I am acutely aware of the importance of growing financial support for our mission and awareness within our community.
