ABOUT SUZANNE TEGEN
Directing the Center for the New Energy Economy means sticking to a core principle of our founder, Governor Bill Ritter: bipartisanship. Even in today\'s tumultuous times, we believe that all people deserve clean energy, and politicians can still collaborate to the benefit of their constituents. My projects include working on economic diversification with coal-reliant communities, the Clean Energy Legislative Academy, managing a small but mighty team at the CNEE, and the social science of renewable energy. I continue to work with the National Renewable Energy Lab as a Joint Appointment on our domestic wind and water power workforces, jobs, and economic impacts. I am a founding member of Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and serve as adjunct faculty at Colorado State University and at the University of Colorado - Boulder.
