   The Role * My current role centres on directing all aspects of the organizational compliance management system (CMS). In practical terms, this includes overseeing the smooth running of CMS operational activities; mitigating risk by conducting risk-based training and file reviews, and others; as well as leading and line-managing a team of staff. In addition to responding to internal compliance-related questions, I also resolve customer issues in relation to potential compliance-related weaknesses. An important component of my role is to design, categorise and steer implementation of enterprise-wide policies that adhere to regulatory requirements. This encompasses securing policy approval, together with approving external communications such as marketing materials, signage, advertisements, web pages, and others. In a similar vein, I inform organizational decision-making by compiling reports for Board and Board Committees, and assessing data metrics on the CMS status. Finally, I serve as Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer at Rollstone Bank & Trust, which involves defining CRA policy and procedures; overseeing Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and CRA data collection and performance reporting; and facilitating CRA Committee meetings, community outreach and development.* The Results * • Played a key role in enabling smooth running of the new holding company shared services structure, by integrating policies, procedures and reporting, identifying scope for efficiencies, and supporting core system conversions
