As Managing Partner for Yorkshire and Humberside, I have an amazing role which- provides me with a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our clients to help them succeed and grow- gives me responsibility for ensuring we are providing first class service to all our clients across the region; and- enables me to ensure all our people are provided with the opportunities and experiences to achieve their full potential.Entrepreneurship and working with entrepreneurs and growing businesses is close to my heart, hence I’m particularly proud of EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year program, which celebrates the success of entrepreneurs, the positive impact they’re making on society and the economy, and the legacies they’re building.I also lead EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team across the North of England and Scotland. The FAAS team provide CFOs with practical solutions to all their financial reporting challenges, whether that arises as a result of a business change, a regulatory change or a desire to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their financial reporting processes.I specialise in leading the firm’s accounting change services to large corporates, the accounting workstream for due diligence and assisting clients with optimising their financial services reporting close process.A qualified accountant for over 18 years, I have worked for EY in Bristol, London, Moscow and Leeds. I am also part of the leadership team for the firm’s women’s network – which has over members – and regularly speak at seminars on the importance of gender diversity in the workplace.
