ABOUT SUZANNE MEDINA

Dr. Medina is a CRNP, board certified as a PMHNP. Dr. Medina currently treats adults in an outpatient psychiatric setting via telehealth. Dr. Medina\'s prior experience includes treating adolescents and adults in a mental health office and inpatient settings.Dr. Medina\'s mental health nursing background includes 12 years in child and adolescent residential behavioral health and 6 years in adult behavioral health with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse by the ANCC. Dr. Medina\'s nursing career spans over 30 years and in addition to mental health, includes the specialties of home health, nephrology, telemetry and obstetrics. Prior to her Post-Master\'s certificate in PMHNP, Dr. Medina earned an MSN as a Nurse Educator and recently graduated from Chatham University\'s DNP program.Awards:2009 Cecilia C. Ryan Memorial Award: Given by family, colleagues and friends in memory of Cecilia C.
