Elected to the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly and the Alaska State Senate, Suzanne served the people of the Kenai Peninsula for one Assembly term and one Senate term. She was voted the most effective new legislator and lead efforts to re-write Alaska’s Open Meetings Act and championed public involvement and local control for resource development.
