Manages City’s strategic communications, media relations and citywide outreach, including content development for website and print, quarterly newsletter, presentations (State of the City address), social media management, events, projects and reports. Boosting City’s image and building community engagement, grew social media followers to more than Helped lead Roseburg Sesquicentennial planning, formed diversity/inclusion subcommittee and won Ford Family Foundation grant. Launched “Facts Matter in Roseburg” campaign to counteract misinformation. Wrote scripts and managed twice-weekly KMTR-TV tapings. Developed waste prevention and recycling web campaign recognized as excellent by OR DEQ. Coordinates with Police/Fire PIOs. Created local PIO networking group. Operate Council/Commission meeting cameras & Facebook live streaming. Use Microsoft software including PowerPoint, Zoom, Mailchimp, Facebook, Nextdoor and X/Twitter, and help maintain City website. Analytics on FB, Nextdoor & Mailchimp.
