About Suzanne Deyoung
Founder of La Soupe Cincinnati. The first large scale Food Rescue operationin Cincinnati, started in 2014. As a 40 year veteran chef, Suzy realized the need to utilize her extensive talent and connections within the industry to create a new model of feeding the food insecure. The La Soupe model recognizes that much of perishable food heads to a landfill, but if given to the La Soupe kitchen, their talented team can transform and then share it with the food insecure in our city. To date they have rescued over 2 MILLION pounds!
