About Suyog Thakur
My path into Product wasn’t planned — it happened gradually, through the work I was doing long before I even called myself a Product Manager. At Traya, I started by solving what looked like “simple” problems: improving user journeys, fixing drop-offs, understanding why people abandon carts, why payments fail, why funnels leak. Over time, these problems pulled me deeper into product thinking. I began working closely with design, growth, engineering… and somewhere in the middle of diagnosing funnels and running experiments, I realized I was already doing product management — just without the title. Those 2+ years at Traya shaped the foundation of how I think about consumers, behaviour, and the invisible friction points that quietly decide whether a business scales or stalls. The impact we drove — a 29× revenue scale-up, 125% lift in checkout conversion, improved AOV, lower payment failures — wasn’t accidental. It came from learning to look at user behaviour with curiosity, not assumptions. My move to Pluckk deepened that journey. Here, I worked across both consumer-facing flows and internal systems. Improving checkout UX (+38% CVR), reducing liquidation losses by 55%, building predictive models, and fixing cost-visibility gaps taught me how product thinking intersects with operations, finance, and on-ground teams. It’s where I learned that great products don’t live only on screens — they require alignment across the whole system behind them.I’ve spent the last few years working with fast-moving consumer brands, experimenting, breaking things, fixing them again, and learning from every funnel drop, every user insight, every metric that refuses to move until you solve the root cause.Today, Product Management isn’t just my role — it’s the lens through which I look at problems. I love understanding why users behave the way they do, running experiments that uncover real truths, and building experiences that feel simple on the outside but are thoughtful underneath. If you enjoy talking about consumer behaviour, growth, funnels, or just want to exchange ideas on building better products, I’d be happy to c••••••••@gmail.com
