As part of my Summer Internship Project (SIP), I worked on the sales floor at modern trade Croma, handling the AO Smith and Pureit product line — specifically water purifiers and geysers.My role focused on:• Understanding consumer buying behavior in FMCD retail• Driving product awareness and communicating key USPs• Achieving daily/weekly sales targets through consultative selling• Competitive analysis between Urban Clap, Croma, Kent, Livpure, etc.• Handling customer queries related to purification technology, installation, AMC, etc. I also analyzed footfall patterns, created a mini sales report, and worked on improving the in-store product pitch through real-time insights. Key Learning: Real-world exposure to B2C retail, category positioning, and consumer trust-building in a high-involvement product segment.
