ABOUT SUYASHI SRIVASTAVA

Hi! I am a BIM architect, BEM (building energy modeling) analyst and consultant trained to evaluate energy-efficiency measures, climate analysis, whole building design performance and life cycle cost through simulation and analysis. Building physics, thermal comfort, daylight, and visual comfort modelling with the aid of simulation tools (Design Builder, Open studio, Revit, Rhino-Grasshopper, Ladybug & Honeybee, Lightstanza, and DIALux) are my core area of specialization.A LEED Green Associate who had the opportunity to lead GRIHA & IGBC documentation and certification processes, I am confident that my career vision to bridge the gap between building design and its immediate environment is achievable! I believe that integrated design and design charrettes can potentially solve a design challenge and transform adversity into opportunity. I am currently working as a Senior Research Associate at the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy. My research work includes setting benchmarks for the energy performance of building types in the challenge. At Solar Decathlon India (SDI) I manage industry and real estate partnerships and maintain connections with the Solar Decathlon India ecosystem, including project partners, industry partners, alumni, and the Technical Resource Group, among others. I further organize and bring together industry leaders for the Solar Decathlon India Career fair and Climate Smart Exhibition & Award annually.
