ABOUT SUYASHH GUPTA

My father started Best Roadways Limited in 1985 with one truck, one route, and one belief — that Indian businesses deserved a logistics partner they could actually rely on. 40 years later, we have 800+ owned vehicles, 65+ branches across India, a sq ft warehouse at Nhava Sheva, and thousands of container movements every month at JNPT. Clients like Waaree Energies, BASF India, Tata Consumer Products, and Corteva trust us with their most critical supply chains. My job is to make sure the next 40 years look nothing like the last ones. When I came in, I saw a business built on relationships, reputation, and hard work — all real strengths. But I also saw an industry running on WhatsApp forwards, gut feel, and phone calls at midnight. I decided to change that from the inside.Over the last five years, that has meant building AI-powered bidding systems for port operations, deploying RPA bots for JNPT container tracking, creating real-time visibility dashboards for enterprise clients, and rebuilding our entire sales and CRM infrastructure on modern tech. Not because it is trendy — because a manufacturer moving 500 containers a month deserves to know exactly where each one is without calling anyone. My thesis: the logistics companies that win the next decade in India will not be the ones with the most trucks. They will be the ones where operations run on data, not instinct. We have the trucks. Now we are building the intelligence layer on top. What I am looking for on LinkedIn: → Enterprise manufacturing and export companies who want a logistics partner that thinks like their own supply chain team — not just a transporter who shows up with a vehicle → Operators, technologists, and sales leaders who want to build something genuinely different in Indian logistics → Founders and leaders thinking about what it means to scale a family business without losing what made it great If any of that resonates — DM me directly.
