Amazon Sidewalk -Worked on coverage projection for sidewalk devices across US- Architected and deployed an event-driven system to ingest Amazon device events and location data into a PostgreSQL DB, automating a biweekly manual backfill process and reducing team workload by 3 days per cycle- Orchestrated end-to-end development of a Kotlin-based RESTful API microservice on AWS CDK infrastructure, implementing spatial queries on a PostgreSQL database and certifying the service for security compliance and operational readiness- Ingested sidewalk testkit device events and extracted crucial location, connectivity, and gateway information for storage in DDB. Constructed APIs to retrieve device information based on timestamp range and device_id. https://coverage.sidewalk.amazon/- Led the ownership of multiple OE tasks, including backfilling millions of location-based data. This involved multiple API calls, introducing new attributes in the DB, and ingesting subsequent data.FireTV Hotspot - Developed a seamless migration script for migrating AWS IoT Core from eu-west-1 to ap-south-1 region, which included failsafe mechanisms for resuming incomplete terminations. This script was instrumental in migrating devices and was utilized by the NOC team. Resulting in a smooth migration process and minimal downtime for the IoT ecosystem- Resolved and automated on-call issues during the customer installation workflow, which previously required manual intervention. This automation significantly reduced the number of repetitive on-call tickets resulting in increase in team productivity and more efficient installation process.
