About Suvam Saha
I am a seasoned Software Engineer known for my consistent delivery of innovation and excellence during my eight-year tenure at Johnson Controls. In my current role as a Software Engineer in Pune, I am part of a dynamic team pushing the boundaries of innovation within the HVAC industry. Some notable highlights from my career include- TEC JCI thermostat- ASHRAE\'s Guideline 36 Implementation: I played a pivotal role in the collaborative effort to implement ASHRAE’s Guideline 36 Control Sequence application templates within our Controller Configuration Tool (CCT). I developed an algorithm for selecting and staging cooling towers and chiller pumps in HVAC waterside plants, improving efficiency and performance. I crafted embedded C code to enhance the functionality of the CCT block programming application. This involved a rigorous process of concept development, testing, in MATLAB and translation into C code, ensuring consistency throughout. Tools involved in this process are Git, Simulink, MATLAB, Visual Studio, CCTDuring my previous role as a Software Engineer, I continued to make significant contributions- Critical Environment Application: I developed an application tailored for critical environments, focusing on room pressure differential control and volume offset control. This project required expertise in Metasys CCT and extensive behavioral testing- Enhanced EasyIO Controllers: I enriched the functionality of EasyIO controllers by designing functional blocks (kits) for PID control, Multistage Controller, Sequencer, and PVDC, enhancing control options and performance. Tools and skill in use are Embedded Software, Sedona(EASYIO CPT Tool), Simulink, MATLABIn my Early Career as an Engineer Associate I, I played a pivotal role in designing intelligent control systems and contributing to the development of cutting-edge BMS. My achievements include: Cost Reduction and Profit Margin Improvement, achieved through faster turn around and high accuracy- Technical Documentation: I generated highly detailed BMS wiring and installation documents, ensuring clarity and understanding among stakeholders, improving installation and commissioning processes globally.Mentorship: I actively coached members through seminars, empowering them with the latest BMS tools and industry trends on HVAC Controls, BACnet. I am passionate about driving innovation in the embedded systems and building management industry, and I am committed to delivering value through technology and collaboration. Let\'s connect and explore opportunities to work together on future projects.
