As a CAD design engineer in the rail-cum-road vehicle (RRV) manufacturing industry, I create General Arrangement (GA) drawings, modify designs through reverse engineering, and work with hydraulic components. Using CAD software (e.g, AutoCAD, SolidWorks), I develop GA drawings that detail the layout, dimensions, and assembly of RRVs after that i converted it into 3D model using solidworks and assemble all the parts —vehicles designed for both rail and road use. These drawings incorporate components like the chassis, rail wheels, road wheels, and hydraulic systems, meeting engineering and operational standards. Create Bills of Materials to outline material requirements, cost analysis, and project specifications for manufacturing and assembly processes.I perform reverse engineering by analyzing existing RRV components to recreate or enhance designs, creating accurate 3D models or 2D drawings to improve performance or adapt parts. I also design and modify hydraulic components, such as cylinders and pumps, ensuring efficient power transmission for vehicle functions like lifting or steering, while meeting safety and load requirements.
