About Sutton Tyson
I am an avid journalist, storyteller, and justice advocate. For almost a decade, I\'ve provided timely and accurate information to the media and public surrounding national security, politics, and justice. I joined CBS News in 2022 as Booking Producer and am responsible for securing guests for CBS News Streaming Network. Prior to my current role at CBS News, in 2017, I began working at the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a spokesperson in the National Press Office. I represented the FBI with national and international media outlets, covering national security, criminal, and counterintelligence matters. I followed my passion for justice, serving as the Strategic Partnerships Associate at the Human Trafficking Institute. I also served in multiple roles at the International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization working to end violence against people living in poverty. During my time with IJM, I led hundreds of college students as president of the National Student Leadership Team. I also helped launch the global Stand for Freedom awareness campaign in 2016. In my spare time, I enjoy helping companies expand their marketing social media strategies. I graduated with a bachelor\'s degree in mass communication from Purdue University.
