ABOUT SUSMITA CHATTERJEE

I am a third-year law student, currently pursuing B.A.LL.B degree from Calcutta University at Kolkata Police Law Institute.The complexities of the justice system, courtroom advocacy, and the real-life impact of legal decisions have always inspired me to continue my journey towards becoming a successful criminal lawyer. I find purpose in understanding how the law protects rights, maintains order, and delivers justice—especially in high-stakes situations involving crime and investigation.I am particularly passionate about subjects such as the BNSS (Criminal Procedure), Indian Penal Code, Constitutional Law, Family Law, and the Law of Evidence. I enjoy analyzing legal scenarios, drafting arguments, and studying trial procedures. My aim to build a career in criminal litigation, where I can actively contribute to ensuring justice through dedication, reasoning, and strong advocacy.I am eager to gain hands-on experience through an internship at a reputable legal firm. I am committed to enhancing my communication skills and deepening my legal understanding to make meaningful contributions to the legal community. With a strong passion for the law, I am always open to learning and collaborating on opportunities related to criminal law, litigation, and legal reform.I am confident in my ability to positively contribute to any legal team I am a part of.
