ABOUT SUSI STEINER

My career has been guided by an early awareness that some learning environments increase learner passion and personal motivation while others diminish it. Eternally curious, I wanted to discover why and then increase the occurrence of energizing, effective and sustainable learning experiences for myself and others. My passion grew by discovering the powerful role technology can have on learning outcomes. When designing better environments for learning, setting, methodology, tools and interpersonal dynamics are all relevant factors and each aspect has been a part of my professional development. We learn in many settings, throughout our lifetime. As a salesperson, presenter and content creator, I share this passion with leaders and customers.Given the potentially exponential role technology plays in advancing learning, it became a strong area of focus for me. In the same way, technology improved the fields of medicine, science and entertainment, it benefits learning. It is a vital tool, especially in times of transition. For this reason, I earned my M.Ed in Educ Tech after working at Microsoft for 7 years and am thrilled to see this incredible field of expertise flourishing. Discovering and applying the factors which ignite a passion for learning continues to guide my professional endeavors and plenty of my personal ones too! When passion is ignited, learners are more likely to explore, engage and achieve their goal. This is a brief and informal summary. Thank you for taking the time to read it.
