About Sushmitha Madhavan
Hello and welcome to this journey of knowing more about Sushmitha. A CA finalist and a B.com Honours graduate from MOP Vaishnav college for women who is keenly interested in developing her personality in different facets, having diverse interests including (but not limited to) travelling, singing, playing keyboard, designing posters etc- Having served as the Member of Student Parliament, Hindi Cultural head - Manjari and Event manager in our Departmental culturals - Espirit\' 20 for the event Business Tycoon, I have understood the importance of team work and the ability to mutitask various activites together- Later during my experience as the Vice President Public Relations in my Toastmasters club - Walkie Talkie Nanganallur, I understood the importance of branding and the ability to curate contents in a creative manner- While serving as the Vice President Education in my Toastmasters club, I spearhead meetings by planning for every meeting and accordingly create agenda for each of the meetings along with ensuring members educational needs are being duly met- Later during my stint as President, I understood how important giving the right directions are. Recently served as Area Director where I was entrusted with the responsibility of taking care of 4 clubs in my area being there as a friend, sometimes as a mentor, sometimes as a guide and sometimes just as a patient listener. On the professional front, I am currently doing my articleship at BSR & Co LLP (KPMG India), Chennai, where I have diverse exposure to statutory audits, tax audits, certifications, and limited review of the listed entity, private limited companies, and have exposure to both Ind AS and AS financials.
