The Remnants is an interdisciplinary research organization dedicated to making prehistory alive again by uniting passionate minds from archaeology, science, humanities, and creative fields. Founded by Charan Shan Kirthiyayan C, The Remnants brings together experts and young researchers from diverse domains — including Lithic Archaeology, Cognitive Archaeology, Urban Archaeology, Funerary Archaeology, Bioarchaeology, Architecture, Chemistry, and Philosophy — to collaboratively decode, reconstruct, and rediscover the forgotten origins of human civilization. We believe that prehistory cannot be understood through a single discipline. Our mission is to integrate scientific research, theoretical interpretation, field knowledge, and creative reconstruction to build a new, holistic understanding of early human life, thought, and innovation. What We Do: 1. Conduct interdisciplinary research projects on prehistoric life 2. Explore human cognition, symbolism, behaviour, and early technologies 3. Analyze lithics, burial practices, urban patterns, biological evidence, and ancient environments 4. Build a strong community of passionate researchers and thinkers 5.
