About Sushmit Saha
I am Sushmit Saha, a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science student at Drexel University, currently in my sophomore year. Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and now based in Philadelphia, my journey in tech has been marked by a strong commitment to both learning and applying new technologies. My journey in tech began as a freelance web developer, where I improved my expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, creating user-friendly websites that enhance online visibility and functionality. I have also completed an IT Support Internship at Health and Hope Hospital in Dhaka, where I played a key role in resolving technical issues and enhancing system efficiency. This experience laid the foundation for my interest in problem-solving and system optimization. In my role as co-founder and lead graphic designer of Clarity, a voluntary Mental Health Organization, I have merged my technical skills with my passion for mental health, utilizing digital media to advocate and educate. This experience has been instrumental in understanding the interplay between technology and social good.At Drexel, I have engaged in innovative projects, including the development of a virtual pet robot and a React Native mobile app. These projects have enhanced my programming skills and understanding of collaborative teamwork through software development.My future aspirations lie in the realms of AI and machine learning, fields I find both very interesting and challenging. I am committed to continuous learning and seeking opportunities where I can apply these technologies to solve complex problems.
