Participated in various Global Rate review projects for Property LoB using tools like excel, Palantir, R etc.2. EMEA Rate review project where we corrected the exposure curve to close the AvE gap for large losses in non-proportional business. This also includes adjusting the Man-made rates, so, that the AvE gap does not get hampered for attritional losses.3. North America Rate review project where we compared our Man-made rates with rates that we derived using various datasets from the market. This includes making homogenous groups in the datasets in the same format as of ours and then making adjustments to derive comparable rates. This project helps to improve the North America rates which in turn closes the AvE gap.Created and maintaining dashboards for actuarial and data insights using tool like Palantir. Worked in collaboration with Underwriters across the Globe and provide actuarial advice for complex deals. This includes performing experience rating using frequency-severity approach, reviewing their costing, costing of complex structure etc.5. Helped new joiners in the team for their successful on-boarding in the company and trained them to come up with the speed in the project as well as in the deal support.I have also worked at Mercer Consulting Private Limited for 4 years and have performed the following duties:1. Performing annual valuations of Defined Benefit Pension Plans for clients based in North America and other locations across globe which ranged from getting the data ready for liability estimations to annual valuations report generations.2. Analyzing the Actuarial Experience by doing a detailed Gain & Loss Analysis and suggesting updates in assumptions to the on-shore clients.3. Filing various government forms(5500 package and PBGC) and preparing accounting disclosures and expense reports based on IAS 19R & USGAAP.4.
