ITU-T Study Group 20 management approved the creation of its Regional Group for Asia Pacific [ITU-T SG 20 RG AP] in its meeting held in Geneva in Jan 2023. Contribution for creation of this regional group was submitted by me from TEC in ITU-T SG-20 meetings held in July 2022 and Jan 2023. I was given the honor to chair this newly created group.As a Chair, I organised the following three meetings in virtual mode: 3rd meeting held on 4-5 August 2025 having 133 participants from 10 countries. More details on the link & utm_medium=member_desktop & 2nd meeting held on 23-24 April 2024 having participation of 149 delegates from 11 countries. Ist meeting held on 25-26 July 2023 having participation of 121 delegates from 15 countries. Meeting reports, List of participants and other related documents are available on ITU-T SG20RG-AP webpage Outcome of each meeting is submitted as a contribution for the subsequent meeting of ITU-T SG-20. All the three meetings have been quite successful in terms of participation and contributions. ITU appreciated the success of these meetings. ITU-T TSB SG-20 invited me to present the SG20RG-AP meeting report in ITU-T SG-20 plenary, 15-25 Sept.
