The Sparkle-2 project concerns the EPCM for the utilities, infrastructures and off-sites facilities of a Greenfield plant for the super specialty chemical located in Panoli Gujrat.•As an Instrument construction engineer, directs subcontractor activities for Instrumentation construction, ensuring that plant construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to quality & safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.•Prior to the start of works, control and approve the method statements submitted by the subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field.•To check that the equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by the subcontractor conform to design documents, safety regulations, and to the quality level fixed by the same.•Participate in the coordination meeting of different agencies like piping, civil, electrical raise the field issues & solved it on the field.•Close coordination with the engineering team during construction work of the project, if any design error detects or any modification arises, where possible rectify the same or take the resolution from design team & circulate the final resolution to the contractor.•To manage vendor specialists on site, make an inspection of vendor materials as per the B.O.M in presence of vendor & store representative. Make a report for any short supplied materials or any deviation.Vendors like; DURR (Germany), Thermax (heater), Kilburn (extractor), Cybernetics (packing Bagging System), Metler Toledo (weighs scale), CCTV & PAGA system.•To prepare the non-conformity register for each vendor & subcontractor and co-ordinate nonconformity resolution with them. Same time maintain the as-built register for the changes.
