Engineering Manager @Energy Recovery, Inc

I lead a team of 7 engineers and 3 external partners/consultants as the Product Engineering group. I am responsible for all product and engineering decisions/activities for Energy Recovery\'s products. As an engineering manager, my goals are revenue creation (72M 2019), product development, engineering process improvement, sustaining engineering, business process improvement, pre-sales support, NPI, DFM, commercialization, supplier audits, quality and field support. My team composition is diverse with focus in CFD, Manufacturing, Product engineering and Test engineering. I also have entry level engineers whom I mentor and develop per their individual interests and the needs of the organization. My team not only owns the product knowledge and technical processes & procedures but also establishes engineering document control practices and PLM framework for the company. I am a contributing member of the product strategy and business development team that steers ideation, product strategy, roadmap, budgets, market research and growth of the company.
