As Senior Policy Associate, I lead state partnerships and ecosystem strategy for the Math Games scale-up across multiple states in collaboration with Pratham and state governments. I advance institutional adoption by aligning evidence-based mathematics interventions with state priorities and strengthening long-term system ownership.Alongside strategic leadership, I continue to anchor core policy functions, including stakeholder engagement with SCERTs and Education Departments, content and curriculum alignment, training strategy support, and cross-state coordination. I contribute to strategic planning and government engagement, develop policy briefs and presentations, support implementation quality through field feedback and data insights, and facilitate knowledge exchange between research, classrooms, and governance systems to enable sustainable scale.

I’m an evidence-focused education and public policy professional with a strong foundation in mathematics education and a passion for making systems work better, especially for students and teachers in government schools.Currently, I work as a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL South Asia, focusing on policy advocacy for scalable, research-backed education programs in collaboration with state governments and NGOs. My work spans across policy dialogue, teacher training, public system capacity building, and translating rigorous research into actionable recommendations for policy integration and implementation.I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and have qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) for Assistant Professorship in Mathematics for the states of Maharashtra and Goa. With over 7 years of experience in teaching, teacher education, and public systems, I bring a grounded understanding of both pedagogy and policy. Prior to J-PAL, I worked with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) and IISER Pune, focusing on teacher strengthening, curriculum analysis, and education research.I care deeply about equitable access to quality education, particularly in math learning. I work at the intersection of research, policy, and practice, often serving as a bridge between researchers, government stakeholders, and teachers. Whether it’s contributing to a policy dialogue, designing teacher training, or translating research evidence into practical strategies, I aim to ensure that each stakeholder is heard, understood, and supported.
