Currently working as an Instrumentation Design Intern in the Detail and Design Engineering department at NEC, a reputed EPC company. I am gaining hands-on exposure to real-time project design workflows under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh Kamble (Founder, NEC) and academic mentorship of Dr. Vijaya Thool (HOD, Instrumentation, SGGSIE & T).Key Responsibilities-Assisting in preparation and review of P & ID diagrams, instrument index, and I/O lists-Involved in designing Junction Box (JB) layouts and Cable Tray layouts for site instrumentation-Supporting the development of hook-up diagrams, loop diagrams, and specification sheets-Contributing to instrument selection, tag numbering, and preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials)-Coordinating with cross-functional teams for aligning instrumentation requirements with project needs.Learning & Contributions-Working on instrumentation design for ongoing EPC projects in the industrial process sector-Gaining understanding of standard engineering practices and documentation in instrumentation design-Building knowledge of process control systems, field instruments, and EPC project execution flow.
