I’m a Passionate database engineer and infrastructure professional with over 15+ years of experience having expertise in database internals like implementation of bloom filter, indexing strategy, partioning strategy, sharding strategy, regular maintenance, maintain uptime, data retention, designing, scaling, and optimizing database and infrastructure that support high-throughput, mission-critical systems. My work spans petabyte-scale architectures, and millions of transactions across shared DB clusters, where performance, reliability, and resilience are non-negotiable.Over the past 6+ years at Amazon, I’ve led and contributed to efforts that enhance the performance and scalability of core systems—leveraging a deep understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and HBase. I specialize in query optimization, indexing strategies, replication architectures, and cross-region data availability.I also build large-scale data pipelines and lakes using AWS Glue, EMR, Apache Spark, and S3, enabling efficient processing and analytics over massive datasets. My backend development skills in Python and Java are key to automating infrastructure, building data workflows, and integrating with distributed systems. On the frontend, I use Python, Java and React.js to develop internal tools that improve visibility, manageability, and operational control of data systems.Whether it’s engineering high-concurrency database systems, building resilient data infrastructure, or optimizing cloud-native storage for cost and performance—I bring a full-stack, end-to-end mindset to every challenge.In the AI and search space, I work with Kendra, pgvector, and vector databases to power intelligent retrieval systems.
