ABOUT SUSANNE WILLIAMS

With over 35 years of experience in international business, advisory work, and adventuring, Susanne is a seasoned professional. Selectively available to advise on resilience, wargaming, critical infrastructure/KRITIS, interoperability, and related topics - at the board, government and operational level. Bluenoted.Now Gartner alumni, she had previously focused on executive interim management, and consulting. Having also a history of adventuring in mountain, arctic and ocean environments. During previous work, she ran a $1 million a day distribution operation, and prior to that, directed the global procurement of packaging for Johnson & Johnson - spend approx.$1.4B, also sailing an ocean going viking ship around the southern tip of Africa with Bjorn Heyerdahl. Susanne’s experience in operational resilience, ICS and business continuity is rooted in her venture capital background & includes turnarounds, global SAP implementations, post-merger integrations, & enterprise transformations. Fascinated by decision guidance, human factors, and complex adaptive systems in high reliability environments. Her team built Europe’s first corporate extranet in the 90s, and she drove the european start-up of a decision-support firm based on the award-winning mathematics of combinatorial optimisation.
