ABOUT SUSANNE JOSIE ROBINSON
A driven and dedicated pre-med junior at Florida State University majoring in Cell & Molecular Neuroscience. I possess strong interests in the fields of psychology, patient care, and child development. I have nurtured these passions through my work as a Research Assistant with FSU’s Children’s Learning Clinic; as a volunteer with the Hospice of Baton Rouge; and as an instructor at IMPACT Preschool, a therapy center for young children with various learning and developmental disorders. These experiences have deepened my understanding of hospice care, special education and the importance of individualized patient care.I currently work at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare as a Patient Care Assistant where I monitor vital signs and attend to patients’ daily needs, and I volunteer at both the Hospice of Baton Rouge and Baton Rouge General Hospital, gaining valuable exposure to clinical settings and patient interaction.With a natural connection to children and a passion for neuroscience, I am committed to using my skills and compassion to make a meaningful difference in healthcare.
