ABOUT SUSANNAH RODGERS

A powerhouse of purpose, performance, and perseverance, Susie is a gold medal winning Paralympic swimmer whose journey to elite sport began later in life. Known as the “Accidental Athlete,” she has since redefined what it means to lead with resilience, passion, and purpose.Today, Susie is a motivational speaker, non-executive director, and strategic advisor at the forefront of global conversations on disability inclusion, social inclusion, gender equality, and human performance. Her work spans advising the UK Government, international development, and corporate consultancy — including as a technical advisor on disability inclusion in climate change, health and economic empowerment at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.As a member of the British Council’s Global Disability Advisory Panel, and former Director of Spirit of 2012 (Chair of the Spirit of Achievement Panel), she is driving systemic inclusion through bold storytelling, policy influence, and high-impact project leadership.Susie is a proven leader in complex international operations, with experience spanning the London 2012 Games, British Council flagship programmes, and athlete welfare reform.
